NPO法人TEOS(東都中小オーナー協会)(注)は、中小企業に情報とアドバイスを提供し、企業がコンプライアンスとCSR(企業の社会的責任)を重視し、健全な発展をすることに貢献し地域社会への貢献活動の展開を通じて持続可能な社会の実現を図る。ホームレス、生活困難者、若年者、女性等社会的弱者への支援を行い、就業機会の増大と福祉の水深を図り、お互いに互助の精神を持つことにより、安心で安全は社会を構築することにより社会貢献を目指す。経済活動の基盤となる自然環境の保全に関して関心を有する個人・団体・会員との交流や連携及び相互の情報交換を促進し、もって我が国の自然環境保全と災害対策に資するとともに、国民の健康で豊かな生活に寄与することを目的に2007年(平成19年)12月に設立されました。そして2024年平成6年2月に今後ますます喫緊の課題となり将来に継承するべき社会と地球を考えると極めて重要な環境保全事業を追加しました。更に環境保全と一体としての人権事業を取り入れ、個々の人間と社会にとっても極めて重要な課題である認知症対策を含めた国民の健康促進を事業としました。
そして、2024年度からは小松正之を新理事長として新たな新役員体制を組織して、上記の目的の推進に取り組むこととしました。今後は、これらの目的とそれに応じた事業内容に沿って、中小企業者に役立つ情報を提供し、所要の会合、ホームページ内容の充実及び経営相談などの経営サポートの実施を図ります。また、近年地球温暖化と環境に関する課題は全世界的規模になっており、身近な温暖化と人権の問題を理解するための世界情報と国際情勢の情報提供も行っていきます。さらには、その数が600万人ともいわれ私たち一人ひとりの身近に存在する認知症の対策に関するわかりやすい情報の提供も充実していきます。
本団体は営利を目的とはしていない特定非活動法人(東京都認可)です。当法人の趣旨と活動に賛同していただけた方のご支援でこれまで活動を継続してきましたが、新体制となり定款も上述の通り変更し、新たに出発したところであります。皆様の幅広いご参加とご支援をお願いいたします。

The NPO TEOS (Tokyo Entrepreneurs and Owners Society) provides information and advice to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to promote compliance and corporate social responsibility (CSR). By contributing to the healthy development of businesses and expanding activities that benefit local communities, TEOS aims to create a sustainable society. TEOS supports socially vulnerable groups such as the homeless, those facing financial difficulties, youth, and women, aiming to increase employment opportunities and promote welfare. With a spirit of mutual aid, the organization strives to build a safe and secure society, contributing to social well-being.
TEOS was established in December 2007 with the mission of promoting collaboration and information exchange between individuals, organizations, and members interested in preserving the natural environment, which is the foundation of economic activity. The organization also focuses on disaster preparedness, contributing to the conservation of Japan’s natural environment and the improvement of public health and well-being.
In February 2024, TEOS expanded its activities to address urgent environmental conservation issues, which are becoming increasingly critical for the future of society and the planet. The organization also incorporated human rights initiatives as part of its environmental conservation efforts, recognizing the importance of addressing public health concerns, including dementia prevention, which is a significant issue for individuals and society alike.
Starting in FY2024, TEOS will begin operating under a new leadership structure, with Masayuki Komatsu as the newly appointed Chairperson, to advance the objectives outlined above. Moving forward, TEOS will provide useful information to SMEs, enhance its meetings, website content, and management consultation services to offer comprehensive business support.
Furthermore, in response to global issues such as climate change, TEOS will offer information on international trends and global conditions to deepen understanding of both climate change and human rights issues. As a non-profit organization (NPO) recognized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, TEOS does not operate for profit. Thanks to the support of those who agree with the organization’s mission and activities, TEOS has been able to continue its work. With the recent changes to its bylaws, TEOS has made a fresh start under a new leadership structure. We welcome broad participation and support from all of you.
